A one-day break is all that was needed and Golf Park became alive again with the Tuesday Clubnite by Robert K. Okong’o Foundation on 17th July 2018. As the norm of a sponsored event, the turnout was good and the game went on pretty smoothly.
At dusk the results were out and Allan Oluoch emerged the overall winner with an impressive score of 63 nett. Emanuel Lelgo followed closely with a 70 nett beating Maina Mbai on count back and went home with the Guest Prize.
The Golf Park Ladies Open took place on the 14th July 2018. The event got a major boost with Safaricom being the main Sponsor and lots of other Golf Park Members making a contribution to support it.
The event was a huge success despite the morning weather being chilly. The ladies turned out in large numbers; 56 ladies participated in the morning including the Chairman KLGU Lucy Muhinga and other KLGU Officials.
Men also supported the ladies by playing in the afternoon in the subsidiary category. Golf Park had a field of over 110 golfers on this day which was a great achievement for the newly elected Lady & Vice-Lady Captains, Naomi Wakesho and Ruth Mathenge and their Committee.
There were ample great prizes for winners for both ladies and men thanks to Safaricom and all the other Sponsors.

On Sunday the 4th of March 2018, Golf Park went out to Limuru Golf Club for their second match this year. The Conveners had done a great job of presenting over 20 teams both in the mains and the subsidiaries for that match.
The Warthogs from Golf Park gave their best where the mains garnered 4 point and the subs had 2. We are proud of our team, The Warthogs, well out great players.

Golf Park Festival went down from 20th Dec 2017 to 23rd Dec 2017. It was a well-organized event that brought together a total of 20 Pros from all over Kenya, to compete for the cash prize. Day 1 was a Pro-Am event while the remaining 3 days was left for the Pros to break a sweat in 3 rounds of golf.
The Pros were unstoppable, neither the rains nor the sun would get in the way between them and the prize.
The event was made possible by the immense support from the sponsors who came together, to make it happen. They were Duncan Sifunah, Timothy Wanjau and Willy Mutubwa. The sponsors participated fully in offering their time by being players in this event plus financial support.
The finale was held on the 4th day and Tony Omuli, a Pro at Golf Park emerged the overall winner as Dismas Indiza from Mumias came in 2nd.
The award ceremony was facilitated by the Club Captain Feisal Lasker and the Vice-Captain Sam Mbinda. It was quite an interesting event which was later followed by the after party; where the golfers interact and mingle freely. A big Thank you to all the participants.

This was the first match this year and spicing everything up was the fact that the game was at home. GP through the able Conveners; Mr. Erick Muriithi and Dr. M. Mbathi, was able to raise over 22 teams for Thika to pair up.
The match kicked off simultaneously at 8:00 am from both tees No 1 & 5. Thika gave their best and garnered 4 points from their mains and 5.7 from their subsidiaries while the Warthogs of Golf Park got 8 points from their mains and 4.3 points from the subsidiaries.
There was great fun and mingle at the nineteenth with both teams receiving drinks from the Golf Park Captains after a sumptuous lunch by the Captains.
The next match is on the 4th March 2018 @ Limuru. The Captain urges all Warthogs to show up in large numbers in support of this noble course.
